Meet Your Therapist
Hi there, my name is Shannon Sennefelder. Welcome to my website.
A Little About Me:
I earned a Bachelor's Degree in Counseling and Human Services alongside a minor in Women's Studies The University of Scranton, PA. I embarked on a professional journey dedicated to understanding the complexities of human interactions. I attained a Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Capella University. I am currently working towards licensure and am supervised by Lauren McGill, LMFT https://www.psychologytoday.com/us/therapists/lauren-mcgill-mcadoo-pa/192564
Over the last two decades, my path has centered on supporting couples and families facing crises. I have also been a dedicated ally for the LGBTQIA+ community, fostering an inclusive space for healing and growth.
A champion of the Solutions Focused Brief Therapy, I believe that you don't have to spend years in therapy. Imagine that for every problem, there are several solutions. Together, we will co-create a clear path to the solutions you say that you want.
I firmly believe that the seeds of healing, growth, and change are already within you. Every individual's healing process is unique, and I am committed to tailoring my approach to align with your distinct needs.
My philosophies are deeply grounded in the principles of Family Systems Theory. We all exist within intricate systems - family, friends, work - and I am here to guide you in identifying and addressing any breakdowns within these systems. Through collaboration, we will work to restore harmony in your life.
I reside in the serene Pocono Mountains of PA. Here, I find happiness and joy in the company of my cherished family and my loyal 4-legged companions.
Feel free to engage with any questions you may have as we embark on this therapeutic partnership together.
